Well, I'm here in Miami, stranded because of weather in Chicago. I can think of worse places to be, though. The weather is gorgeous here. I'm staying now in South Beach, people watching and eating some great food. Met a totally cool actress (Jayna (sp?))from New York (who had this mysterious, allure about her.) She is here in Miami relaxing and taking some time off from her hectic life.
Renaldo who works at the restaurant wants to teach acting and fell in love with Miami. He's originally from Manhattan. Then there's Maia who waited on me who's from Macedonia. She is studying to get licensed as a physician in the States.
There's also the woman who is the maitre'd who is from Haifa and here with her family.
I've had a couple of Mojitos from various locations...good stuff.....
Now I'm going to listen to some music and then chill.
The flight in was interesting in that I had this unbeleivable pain like somone stuck a hot poker over my eyeball. I was in absolute misery. I got checked by the EMT's on the ground and they told me it wasn't anything major. The consensus was a sinus glitche reacting to the pressure change. Still, I'm not looking forward to the return flight.
Time to head out.
