Chicago Blues Fest-something that must be experienced every year. The music, the food, the people watching...
Smoked a couple of cigars, had a couple Bacardi malted beverages (they only served BUDWIESER otherwise--AUGHHH!!!!), a smoked rib sandwhich, cheeseburger and cookies and cream wafflecone.
Also met some interesting folks from this community out east called Zendik (www.zendik.org) and had very interesting conversations with some of their "road warriors", especially Helen, but quite frankly, it's almost alittle creepy. Kinda cultish. These people go on the road and "evangelize" (for lack of a better word) for their Founder's vision of a different type of culture. Very interesting philosophy though and worth the discussion, but dont' think you'd ever see me with a stylized "Z" hanging around my neck...
More rain on the way-I need to hit the sack...
