Nice weekend...
Had the reunion Valentine's gig. It was a blast!! I recorded the gig and it sounded great for only two practices!!! The people all had a great time so that's the important thing; but I'd be lying if I didn't say that the band members didn't enjoy it as well. It was fun having my bro back on drums again (instead of a drum machine).
Funny, while we were gigging regularly, we could never get Ihor, our bass player, to loosen up musically and physically on stage. Now, he plays great and is totally loose on stage-I think a wife, two kids and a third on the way did what none of us could do for 12 years;-)
Time for another week; supposed to hit the 40's (yikes!) by this weekend. So, tonite I head over to my younger bro's to play some outdoor hockey with him and his son Joe before the ice melts. It'll be fun.
