Fall has arrived. The weather has cooled in the Chicago Area but not so much that it's brutal. The trees are confused, some have dropped their leaves, others are holding on tenaciously.
The trees on my property have held their leaves while the neighbor's haven't. The prevailing winds have resulted in the leaves dropping onto MY property so that I've got tons o' leaves and my trees haven't even dropped.
I'm not raking until those suckers drop!!
Carved my pumpkin yesterday and had a few trick or treaters come by...doesn't seem as busy as when I was a kid....
Went out to a party last night as "Russel Crowe on the Town"-somone actually walked up to me and said how I was a dead ringer. Wish I had a Gladiator outfit;-)
Cool costumes but kind of subdued-not sure why....
