Filled in for a cancellation last night at Arbor Vitae in Naperville. Great people showed up and it was a blast to play. There were bunches of Highschool kids that came in and watched after seeing their football game. Totally enthusiastic and I had a great time playing for them. I appreciate all your support both in your vocalness and in your tips (which are no small thing when you're in highschool!!!) Thanks again!!!
I broke TWO strings last night--the SAME string both times. I purposely didn't change my strings because I wanted a warmer sound. I wanted to experiment since I always try and change them before a gig. Well, 20 seconds it no my first song...SPRINGlurp,bzzzzlurp as the string broke and entangled itself in the rest of my strings. Soooo, I changed it and later on in the night, Pring! It broke again.
Think I'm ALWAYS changing my strings before gigs now;-)
