Took care of work yesterday then spent the afternoon in downtown Grapevine hiking around Lake Grapevine and hitting Main St. and sampling wines.
Met up with a gentleman from Atlanta that has a house in Atlanta and one in Dallas. Used to own a jazz club in Atlanta. So we sampled ports and other wines at a few different locations and talked music. Homestead Winery has a sherry that is magnificent. La Buena Vista has a port that is called Vida del Sol-it's awonderful blend. Had a high plains orange muscat that is also fantastic.
My left ear was bugging me before I left and after swimming it got worse. So I got back from the wine sampling and cleaned my ears with peroxide. It wasn't exactly pleasant, but it worked great and it's feeling tons better now.
Calling various places for sound systems, I'll find something for tonite and tomorrow.
