Went to check out a new venue last nite; actually an older venue with new owners--Hotti Biscotti. It's an AWESOME place. VERY intimate and hip.
Hung out and listened to some jazz as part of a private party while playing "Connect Four" with the bartender, Amanda, who competed in "Connect Four" tournaments in college. She was good!
Talked with Dustin, the Talent Purchaser, about setting up some showcases; he's a great guy and enthusiastic about the music scene. It's a pleasure working with him and a nice change from many of the other booking agents at so many clubs.
Be on the lookout for some gigs there soon!
